YearOne— Collective, Black Pages SS15

YEARONE— COLLECTIVE is a womenswear fashion design label based in East London, UK. Their work focus on creating understated and flexible designs for urban women, that perform flawlessly at the crossover between work and leisure.

We’ve been designing look-books and preview invitations for several of their collections. Our approach has been varied and experimental, usually based on the collection concept, photographic aesthetics, shoot location, image typologies etc.

BLACK PAGES SPRING 15 it’s the London’s brand first season. An all black collection concept and its raw concrete brutalist shoot location, set a minimalist and subtle backdrop that would inform the look-book design style. Cottons, leathers and silk, the collection materials of choice, coexist on set with a couple of sculptural pieces that were created for the shoot. The layout design evolves quietly along the look-book, with type color in close dialogue with image tones and numeration floating across the pages.
